Wopsononock - The name of a station in Blair County.
The name is not a historic one.  It is probably a compound,
made up of Woapeu, "white," with some other word of
Indian origin, and the suffix, ock, "country" or "land."
Woapasum-ock would be "white sunshine land."
Woap-achsin-ock would be "white stone land," etc.
