Gracie's Friends

This is Myrtle, our dearly departed 1993 Plymouth Sundance. We had her with us for a short 13 months, until someone in a speeding Scottsdale decided to use her to get stopped.
We had a lot of good times with her though, mostly travelling to Virginia. She was a rather familiar sight on I-81.
We bought her with 60K miles on her, and she left us with 102K miles.
  R.I.P. Myrtle...we'll always miss ya.

Meet Bessie, our recently acquired 1988 Plymouth Reliant K.She was the result of my Mom's conversion to Mopar.
Most of the restoration on her will be of the "cosmetic" variety, as she's in cherry condition. We also plan on doing some of the same things to her that we did to Gracie i.e. bigger exhaust, and a cold air intake.
She has 122K miles on her, and still runs like a champ.

Meet Sha, (at left) a 1994 Shadow ES owned by our friend RJ of Ohio. (there are more of RJ's rides to come at a later date).

This was one of many pics we both took the last time we got together.

Sha just recently passed the 100K mile mark. Ironically, three years to the day that we bought Gracie. Spooky huh?
We each got to take a spin in the other's ride, and saw firsthand the differences in Sha's 3.0, and Gracie's 2.5. Although, since we've done the cold air intake w/ K&N filter, and got the bigger exhaust, Gracie has a lot more power as well. Ya should've seen the heads turnin'  the day these two were in the lot together.

Meet Boy (a 1967 Chrysler Newport convertible), and Girl (a 1993 Dodge Spirit). These are both owned by our friend Bob of Florida.
Boy has been a 9 year ongoing restoration project, and has the ever so Majestic 440 under the hood.

He is also the object of devotion, and the inspiration behind the '67 Newport Fan Club.
Girl is Bob's "daily driver", and yet another 3.0 we've added to the collection of that which is somewhat bigger 'n' Gracie's  power plant.

Meet Sandman, a 1974 Plymouth Valiant with a 225 slant six under the hood.
This one's the pride and joy of our friend Bob of Beiseker, Alberta, Canada..
Given the name, how many of you now have Metallica's "Enter Sandman" running through your heads?
The condition of the rides in this area of the world is incredible.

Meet Natalie. She is the pride and joy of Cris, and I believe she is also the only Turbo we have here.
  Beautiful, isn't she?

Here we have Ellenor. You may recognize her from the Sundance Crib.
This is Tom's baby. He has been working on her for some time, and she is really shaping up nicely.
