Managing Accounts Under Outlook Express
Outlook Express allows you to use multiple email
accounts simultaneously.
To Add an Account:

In Outlook Express, click on Tools,
Accounts
-
Click on the Mail tab
-
Click on Add, Mail
It's all a matter of entering the appropriate information from here...
To Remove an Email Account:
-
Click on Tools at the top of the
screen
-
Click on Accounts
-
Click on the Mail tab
-
Click on the account that is to
be removed
-
Click on the Remove button
-
Repeat from step 4 to remove any
other accounts.
-
Click OK when finished.
-
Click on Tools at the top of the
screen
-
Click on Accounts
-
Click on the Mail tab
-
Click on the offending account
-
Click on the Properties button
-
On the General tab, make sure all
the information is correct.

The Reply address: should be your
email address: username@pennswoods.net
-
Click on the Servers tab
-
The Incoming and Outgoing mail servers
should be mail.pennswoods.net
-
The Account name is your Pennswoods.net
user name
-
The Password is your password
-
Click on the Advanced tab
-
The Outgoing mail port number should
be 25, and the Incoming mail port number should be 110. If they are
not, click on the Use Defaults button.

When you're finished checking/modifying
the settings, click on the Apply button at the botton of the screen.

Click on the OK button
-
Click the Close button
One last possibility for
error 0x800ccc0e:
Many large ISPs - Mindspring, Prodigy, Worldnet, etc. - may not allow
their customers to send via a third party mail server. To remedy this
problem, just use your ISP's mail server to send, and you can use any
mail server to receive.
