Updating Your Modem Drivers

These instructions - specifically, numbers 1, 14, and 15 - assume you have one of the self-extracting driver archives supplied you by Pennswoods.net tech support. If you obtained drivers from another source, just skip step 1 and substitute the appropriate path in steps 14 and 15.

The instructions are intended for .INF-oriented updates; these instructions are useless for packaged installation-type updates like Lucent drivers. If you received the driver from Pennswoods tech support: Double-click on the excutable file you downloaded supplied you. It will prompt you to extract files to the directory c:\drivers\modem. Do so. Otherwise, extract the drivers to C:\drivers\modem
