Windows ME has a restore utility that can return
your computer to an operational state after something has happened...
Click Start, Run
Type C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\RESTORE\RSTRUI.EXE
Press the [Enter] key on your
keyboard. This will start the system restore program.
Just step through the wizard,
select a day to restore from, and restore your system to that date.
This is a way to get your computer working again if nothing else works.
