RAS Error 630
630 - The port was disconnected due to hardware failure.
The modem is not responding. This may be caused by a bad init string, or a mal-installed modem.
- Reboot the computer (to reset the modem).
- Check out the init string. Try removing it and then rebooting and trying the modem without the init to see if it responds properly.
- Verify your modem is installed properly. This may involve un- and re-installing the modem, calling technical support for your computer, and/or taking it to a repair shop.
