Internet Explorer's Connection Management
In Internet Explorer,
Click on Tools at the top of the screen
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Connections tab
Click on the Settings button
Click on the Advanced button
Uncheck Disconnect if idle for nn minutes
Uncheck Disconnect when connection may no longer be needed
This should prevent Internet Explorer from trying to manage your connection.
