It operates in the background to accelerate your Internet connection. No user intervention is required. If Pennswoods.net Internet Accelerator is not running and you need to launch it manually, an icon titled "SlipStream Web Accelerator" is located in the dock (as shown below).
The SlipStream taskbar icon appears in the dock with
a triangle to show you it is running.
