Acknowledging a need for quality internet service, Mark and Judy Stern started Pennswoods.net after they sold Allegany Technology Inc. Allegany Technology prospered in the very competitive field of force measurement by focusing on the customer's complete satisfaction through advanced technology.

Our mission is to bring high quality internet service to underserved rural or remote areas.

Pennswoods.net currently has local internet service in approximately 250 towns in the Unites States and the Caribbean.

Internet service of the highest quality can only be achieved if our technical staff has control of all the equipment that interfaces with our customers. To this end, pennswoods.net buys only the best access servers (modem banks) and computers and deploys them throughout our local access areas. Our equipment is always upgraded or replaced based upon the availability of next generation servers. We provide at least two different paths to the internet backbone to insure uninterrupted internet access.

Customer satisfaction is our driving commitment at Pennswoods.net. Customers use the internet 365 days a year and might need help even on Christmas Day. Our technical staff is here to help with all computer related questions.
