Suny's Return Journey

Welcome to the area of Gracie's site set aside to showcase Suny, and RJ's determination to save him.
You will recognize the story below. Due to numerous requests for information on what's new, we have created this. As things happen, we will post the updated pics, and keep ya informed.
Unfortunately, nothing has happened in the aspect of getting those responsible to own up to what they have done. However, through an unrelenting determination on RJ's part, Suny is on his way back to the land of the living. A piece here, a part there, and soon, we hope to post the pics of Suny.....completely restored to his former glory.
  Let the journey begin.

Meet Suny, a 1989 Sundance RS, with a 2.5, and fully loaded.  This one's also owned by our friend RJ. Y'all met Sha on the "Friends Of Gracie" page.
Both Suny, and RJ have been done a HUGE injustice by the insurance industry. On 11/29/00 Suny was involved in two accidents within minutes of each other. Since then, RJ has been doing battle with the two companies involved to gain some justice. It appears nobody in a position of power is interested in seeing justice done, Nobody has given RJ anything in the form of restitution.
They have even gone so far as to tell RJ that there is "no interest" in these cars. WHAT??
The insurance companies are all too eager to get rich from your monthly premiums, but they really need to wake up and realize there IS an interest, and it's growing every day.
Simply because we choose to drive something a little older does not give the industry the right to treat us as lesser individuals.
JUSTICE FOR SUNY, AND NOTHING LESS!!

                                                            ~A WORK IN PROGRESS~

This is the result of a successful hunting expedition to the Mopar Nationals. In an out-of-the-way  parts bin, there it was....Suny's tail light.
This is a work in progress, but we had to post these. We're thrilled Suny is on his way back.

These are some of our favorite pics. Suny & Sha together.
The pride taken in these cars is evident.

We would like to add something personal here.

RJ, you have got to be one of the strongest people we know. You have seen this through, and have never surrendered. A lot of people would've given up long before now. You have our admiration, and respect. You also have friends who will be there til the end of time.
Here's to ya, and the BEST is yet to come.
